Embedded Languages

With the continuing development of the internet, the requirement for interactive web content has resulted in the increasing use of embedded programming languages within HTML pages. Using the Contents As item from the View menu, you can quickly switch between the different language components of single file.

One of the major complications when working with a mixed language source file is identifying the scope of each component language. The code editor solves this problem by displaying all content not relating to the current language using a different color, the default settings use a shade of grey to imply the text is ôdisabledö.

The file types, ôHTML fileö, ôASP source fileö and ôPHP source fileö are all pre-configured with support for their embedded languages.
